You may or may not know that I started my broadcasting on Ron Paul Radio. My first day was December 17th 2007, the day after the Ron Paul Tea Party MoneyBomb that raised 6 Million dollars in one day!

Already a fan of RPR, I had sent Kurt Wallace host of Wake Up America on RPR a song that I had written and recorded. The song is called Read Your Constitution and it's a Ron Paul song. Kurt played the song on air and interviewed me about it. We began to talk off air and he suggested I do a show on RPR, at first I hesitated having no experience at broadcasting, but the RPR family seemed very forgiving of host errors so I signed up. I was in for a ride!

The day I started everything changed, Kurt was no longer there and many of the other hosts I listened to were gone also. There was a crew of people I didn't know well and I was trying to get up and running. Finally "The Dude" set me up and Positively Paul was born on Ron Paul Radio. Fun times! After the campaign the show changed from Positively Paul to Press For Freedom. Along the way I acquired a co-host "AGirl" who stole the show and was a big hit.

We moved the show over to a video format ( RonPaulTelevision.com) and then moved to BreakTheMatrix.com Our first event at Break The Matrix was covering the March on Washington, it was a great time to meet all those we had known from chat! We then moved the show to BoldVoices.tv for a brief stint before I decided to hang up the mic for a while. A-Girl continues to broadcast and can be found at RealLibertyMedia.com in the chat, go say Hi!

Having done a show for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week for over two years, I needed to take care of some business at home. I started doing youtube and facebook and occasional money bomb hosting, recently I pulled way back on those things, closing my youtube and cancelling FB.

But then I saw the RonPaulRadio banner on the No One But Paul MoneyBomb site and clicked… down memory lane I went… to a time when I was first attracted to the idea of spreading the message of Liberty on the air.

I contacted the new station manager and after looking over their statements and goals I signed up!

Press For Freedom will be re-born on RonPaulRadio.com Monday Feb 20th at 9PM, at least that's the plan as of today. It will only be a 1 hour show, and it's just me, but I hope to be able to bring something to the table at least once a week. Look for great music, great guests and a lot of fun!

What good is freedom of the press, if the press will not press for freedom!?

Ron Paul's Foreign Policy would not be foreign to George Washington or Thomas Jefferson or John Adams, putting myself in such august company may seem a bit above my station, but I agree with them. Free trade and friendship with all nations who would be friends, and entangling alliances with none. Do not go around the world seeking dragons to destroy. The reason is obvious, it costs money and lives.

Those who love life, love freedom and those who love freedom cherish life. Your life is your own, as is your property, or lack of it. You get a lifetime to get it right, that's all, no more, no going back. That is a precious thing, especially today with the knowledge of the world at your finger tips. The ability to really satisfy the intellect of anyone is available almost everywhere. Think of the future possibilities for mankind, the technology that can be used to conserve our selves and our planet, the beauty of all minds being independent and available to work on any problem. It is indeed an awesome world that awaits us, if we are free.

Freedom is progress, it is the natural order of things, it is how we evolve. Without freedom we stagnate, we stay at status quo, we lock up.

I have heard some say Ron Paul wants to go back to the 18th century, that is only true in one way, the role of government in our lives. We have come to a crossroads where we must decide our future, the bills are coming due, the charade is over, the curtain has been pulled. We can all see the criminal behavior at the highest levels out in the open, without shame. Stealing the people money by the trillions and giving it to their friends. At the same time passing every Law that is not Law they can to make, so you think you have no rights. Rights are inherent, they are natural. Rights are not given by governments should only exist to protect those rights that were endowed in you at conception.

You are a singular creature, not a collective or a community or any "thing". You are a being, alone forever in your shell, with only your mind and spirit to communicate with others and move your body about. It is those communications and movements that are you, unique to only you, and you are responsible for them. That’s a bummer for some and a boon for others. Some come to this realization early in life, like Ron Paul, and others come to it much too late, but it is what it is.

To change the path of someone’s life by taking away many choices and imposing many more, alters the very core of the freedom to be who you are. You should be free to live your life, your way, to keep your property and be left alone with privacy intact, as long as you do not use force, fraud or coercion against another. It is for the protection against force, fraud and coercion that we have established governments. That is their prime objective.

The maintenance of our liberty, through prevention of (or restitution from) force, fraud and coercion. That’s why we have peace officers. Now we call them police, because they enforce policy, not justice, they don’t keep the peace, that’s not their job, they enforce policy period end of story. If want them to change, the only solution is change the laws.

Our military are our protectors of liberty from threat outside the U.S. They are tasked with making sure we can freely live and interact with one another without worry of  an invasion on our soil and our live being destroyed by an enemy. That is their job and they are well equipped and prepared to do it. I don’t doubt that for a second. What I do doubt is that they are being used for defense of our liberties. It seems to me they are being used as pawns in some worldwide empire game of strategy. We were. not intended, nor were our laws written for us to be an empire. That is the reason for the possible coming fall. They think perhaps they can do as Rome and ride it out for hundreds of years with complete domination. They can’t. The world doesn’t work that way anymore. We have moved on.

Ron Paul does not want to go back to any period of time, he wants to move forward. That will require a lean government and a motivated people. In order to take advantage of the future we can all share in, we need to dump the albatrosses from our necks and be free. We need to end the wars, save the money, stop spending, stop regulating and taxing the people, stop printing money and going deeper in debt, stop pushing other countries around and worry for our own, we are in no position to help. These actions will set us free and create the playing field Americans thrive on, the no holds barred kind of innovation and experimentation that will leap us forward to a richer and free America.

That's Ron Paul's foreign policy, as I see it.

Ron Paul is Right!

So say the others candidates! Many times during the debates this season I have noticed the other candidates framing their message to appeal to Ron Paul supporters. It hasn't really worked because those who support Ron Paul know that the difference between him and the others is more than policy, it's about the man as well.

A man who spent many years being the figure of ridicule among his fellow congressmen, the outsider, the kook, Dr. No.

We supporters of Ron Paul have discovered a different man and have other words to describe him.

Principled, Honest, Forthright, Frugal, Caring, Intelligent,  Scholarly, Loyal.

We see a man willing to stand up the perhaps the greatest pressure of all…  peer pressure, and deliver what he knows will be an unpopular speech,  introducing legislation that he knows will get few co signers. In short Ron Paul has guts! He is brave in the way that transcends the normal meaning of the word, he exhibits raw courage, not aggressiveness, not machismo, but the real raw courage of his convictions. That is the part the other candidates can't mimic, they simple don't have the record to back it up, Ron Paul does. It is courageous to save lives, not send others to their deaths, Ron Paul knows this deep in his being, I do not think the others understand this.

The other anomaly I have noticed during the debates is the number of times the other candidates agree with Dr. Paul and in some cases even defer to him on some topics. This may be a political strategy or genuine respect, in either event it reinforces Dr. Paul's reputation on Constitutional, Monetary and Fiscal issues. Dr. Paul is the expert on stage in those areas and it shows.

Ron Paul supporters know that he is also the expert in foreign policy. The idea that the way to make the world a better and safer place for all is through aggressive expansion of Empire should be repugnant to any student of history and lover of our Republic. Simply stated the United States should not be a world empire, it was born a Republic and should stay a Republic. There is no need for a "Homeland" if it is the only land you occupy! The very term "homeland" implies " Away Land", it cries out Empire! Dr. Paul knows this and has lived his life trying to maintain and restore the Republic. That is the biggest separation between him and the others, it is the gulf they find to wide to cross to meet him, they love Empire, he does not. The others seeking the highest office in the land truly believe the only thing wrong in this country is that they are not running it! Ron Paul seeks the highest  office in the land to help the people regain the respect of being free and independent, and to shrink the control and intrusion of government into our lives, he aims to have less power and influence over you when he serves in office, not more. He looks to expand our opportunities not our so called footprint around the world. Saying " I like Ron Paul except for his foreign policy" is like saying " I like George Washington except for his foreign policy", because they have the same foreign policy!

I have no doubt that a Ron Paul presidency would oversee some very rough waters, there is much turmoil coming regardless of who wins the office. Ron Paul will face tremendous challenges in all areas, with those who benefit from the current system ( almost everyone in Washington ) fighting and sabotaging him every step of the way. A man with a lesser spine would not stand a chance! But Ron Paul has backbone! With the peoples support he will help bring us more freedom and more prosperity , while reducing the burden of government on our shoulders. Not only do I believe he can and will do that, I believe he is the only one who will.

We must do our part to help Ron Paul restore Liberty in America, if we don't, who will?
